After cheating scandal, Choo Ja Hyun and Yu Xiaoguan return to “Same Bed, Different Dreams”

Choo Ja Hyun and Yu Xiaoguang, who faced a scandalous extramarital affair in 2021, will be returning to “Same Bed, Different Dreams”.

On July 6th, YTN reported that Choo Ja Hyun and Yu Xiaoguang will be returning to the SBS program “Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 – You Are My Destiny” (hereinafter referred to as “Same Bed, Different Dreams 2”).

According to the report, the two recently finished filming for the program’s observational camera, and Choo Ja Hyun is now preparing for the studio recording. 

The broadcast is scheduled to be announced sometime in July, and no further details have been revealed.

Previously, Choo Ja Hyun and Yu Xiaoguang appeared on “Same Bed, Different Dreams 2” in 2017, revealing the newlywed life of an international couple from Korea and China and attracting a lot of attention. Despite his poor Korean language skills at the time, Yu Xiaoguang gained popularity by expressing his affection for Choo Ja Hyun. It was reported that the two left the show “Same Bed, Different Dreams 2” due to childbirth and to focus on their childcare responsibilities.

However, in 2021, Yu Xiaoguang, who was known for being a sweet lover, shocked Korea and China alike with sudden rumors of him having an extramarital affair. At the time, a photo of a woman sitting on Yu Xiaoguang’s lap was released, leading to criticism from both countries.

In response, Yu Xiaoguang apologized, saying, “I should have been more cautious, and I should have known that such actions can be misunderstood, even if it was a good friend or somebody I have a good relationship with.”

Since then, Choo Ja Hyun’s side also refuted the dating rumors, and discord has calmed down as her and Yu Xiaoguang continued to reveal affectionate photos of themselves on SNS.
