Girls’ Generation Yoona became a candidate for an awards ceremony due to her acting skills.
On April 11th, the nominees for each category at the 58th Baeksang Arts Awards were announced.
Yoona was nominated for Best Actress thanks to her movie “The Miracle“. It has been 15 years since she became an actress. Her first drama was MBC’s “Two Outs in the Ninth Inning” and her first movie was “Confidential Assignment“, in which she appeared with actor Hyun Bin.
At this Baeksang Arts Awards, Yoona will compete with Go Doo-shim in “Everglow“, Park So-dam in “Special Delivery”, Lee Hye-young in “In Front of Your Face” and Jeon Jong-seo in “Romance Without Love”.
Meanwhile, Girls’ Generation Seohyun will also appear at Baeksang. She was nominated for Best New Actress thanks to her role in the movie “Love and Leashes“.
The awards ceremony will be held at KINTEX in Ilsan, Gyeonggi Province on May 6th and will be broadcast live simultaneously on JTBC, JTBC2 and JTBC4.
