aespa’s Winter made an exciting revelation about LE SSERAFIM’s Huh Yunjin.
In a recent fansign event, aespa’s Winter confirmed that LE SSERAFIM’s Huh Yunjin was once a trainee at SM Entertainment.
Winter went on to reveal that Huh Yunjin, along with herself and fellow aespa member Ningning, were roommates during their trainee days together.
Prior to Winter’s confirmation, rumors had been circulating widely about Huh Yunjin’s past as an SM trainee. aespa’s Ningning previously mentioned that she became friends with Huh Yunjin when they were both trainees.
Kep1er’s Chaehyun, another former SM trainee also revealed that she had known Huh Yunjin since their middle school days, the same time Chaehyun was training at SM.
It is unknown when Huh Yunjin left SM. In 2018, she made her first public appearance through Mnet’s survival show Produce 48 as a trainee under Pledis Entertainment.
In 2021, she moved to Source Music, another label under HYBE, before debuting in LE SSERAFIM in 2022.
