Winter, a member of aespa, impressed fans by taking care of fellow member Ningning, who has visual issues in one eye.
On June 25th, Winter and Ningning, along with other aespa members, performed at the outdoor music festival “Waterbomb Seoul 2023”, which was held at Jamsil Sports Complex Auxiliary Stadium in Seoul.
Previously, when aespa first confirmed their appearance at “Waterbomb Seoul”, many fans expressed concern about Ningning’s eye condition. In particular, in an interview with Vogue China in March, Ningning revealed that she had undergone surgery when she was young, and her right eye is almost non-functional. To prevent excessive dryness, she carries eye drops with her as a regular item.
In addition, there have been various cases of artists being shot in the eyes with water guns at “Waterbomb Seoul”, causing a lot of fans to worry.
However, aespa members, including Ningning, successfully concluded their performance at the festival. According to some stage videos captured by fans, Winter was seen picking up the water-blocking goggles dropped by Ningning and asking about her eye condition.
Winter’s sweet action has thus, successfully touched the hearts of fans.
