aespa was Sabotaged During “Armageddon” Comeback? Fans Angry

Recently, aespa made a comeback with their latest album “Armageddon”. As of the moment, the group is still doing extremely well on Korean music charts, while their physical sales also show impressive numbers.

However, various “incidents” were said to have occurred during the “Armageddon” era, leading to fans suspecting that there was sabotage involved.

In particular, Inkigayo canceled 2 weeks that were 2 secured wins for aespa, causing the girl group to lose out on music show wins.

Additionally, aespa received 0 broadcast score for another music show, causing them to lose to NewJeans despite higher digital points. The same music show also reset all of aespa’s votes alone for the following week, causing the girl group to struggle to win once again.

Finally, despite the song “Supernova” from “Armageddon” reaching No.1 on all Korean major music charts, the comprehensive iChart failed to update in time, and then went under repairs, causing aespa to lose their Perfect All-Kills (PAKs) streak.

All of the above incidents occurred back-to-back, impacting the achievements of aespa in their latest comeback and raising suspicions of possible sabotage, especially after the “trample on aespa” statement previously made by HYBE founder Bang Si-hyuk.
