Girl group aespa successfully finished its first showcase in Japan.
aespa held their first solo showcase in Japan “aespa JAPAN PREMIUM SHOWCASE 2022 ~ SYNK ~” at Pia Arena MM in Yokohama, Japan, on the 6th and 7. There were a total of 920,000 people participating in ticket applications. aespa met with 40,000 spectators selected through a draw over two days and delivered powerful performances.
In this showcase, aespa performed the hit songs ‘Black Mamba’, ‘Next Level’, ‘Savage’, ‘Girls’, ‘Life’s Too Short’. , ‘Illusion’ stage, as well as the b-side songs ‘ænergy’, ‘Lucid Dream’, and ‘YEPPI YEPPI’. A total of 9 songs, including the stage of unique energetic charm, made local fans enthusiastic.
Aespa said, “It was my first event in Japan, and I was happy to show you the stage like this. I want to share happy moments with you in the future. Thank you for giving me great memories today, and I will have a lot of opportunities to meet you in the future, so please support me”.
On the other hand, aespa will participate in ‘SMTOWN LIVE 2022: SMCU EXPRESS @HUMAN CITY_SUWON’ (SMTOWN LIVE 2022: SMCU EXPRESS @HUMAN CITY_SUWON) to be held at the Suwon World Cup Stadium at 6 pm on August 20th.
