Aespa sets a new record with album ‘Girls’, becoming the girl group with the highest first-week sales in the history of Circle Chart 

‘Metaverse Group’ aespa took first place on the Circle Album Chart (formerly Gaon Album Chart) with their second mini-album ‘Girls’.

Aespa‘s second mini-album “Girls,” released on July 8, topped the circle album chart in the 28th week (July 3-9), which was released today (14th), realizing the enthusiastic interest of music fans.

At the same time, with sales of 1,426,487, aespa became the girl group with the highest first-week sales in the history of Circle Chart (Gaon).

With this album, aespa surpassed 1.61 million pre-orders even before its release, achieving the highest K-pop girl group pre-orders, proving the group’s amazing power. The group also quickly surpassed senior groups like TWICE and BLACKPINK to become the girl group with the highest album sales on the first day.

In addition, aespa will appear on Mnet’s ‘M Countdown’, which will be aired today, and present the stage of the new mini album title song ‘Girls’ and the pre-released song ‘Illusion’, raising high expectations.
