This is the first time aespa has participated in the famous 19+ music festival Water Bomb Seoul.
The third day of Water Bomb Seoul 2023 attracts attention aespa’s performance. Water Bomb Seoul 2023 was held over three days from June 23rd to June 25th at the Jamsil Sports Complex in Seoul. This festival is only for audiences aged 19 and above.
2023 marks aespa’s first participation in this annual music festival. aepsa recently made a comeback with the title track “Spicy,” ranking high on Korean music charts. Therefore, the appearance of aespa at Water Bomb Seoul 2023 was highly anticipated.
aespa members wore sexy summer outfits for their first performance at the festival. Karina wore a two-strap top with shorts. Karina is famous for her top-tier body and AI-like visuals.
Winter was excited about performing at Water Bomb Seoul. She played with a water gun. Lee Young Ji also performed at the event right before aespa. Before leaving the stage, Lee Young Ji told fans to remind aespa to always wear protective goggles or remove contact lenses.
The reason is that at Water Bomb Seoul, the audience and the artists always spray water at each other. Therefore, most artists are sprayed with water in their mouths and eyes. Lee Young Ji couldn’t even see anything after performing at Water Bomb Seoul 2023 because she was sprayed with too much water in her eyes.
aespa was dressed more youthful and energetic outfits instead of bolder ones like the previous performers, such as Sunmi or Kwon Eun Bi. On the first day of the water festival, Kwon Eun Bi surprised everyone by wearing a see-through top that revealed her bra.
Previously, when it was announced that aespa would participate in Water Bomb Seoul, fans were worried about Ningning, because one of her eyes was injured and she couldn’t see. So, Ningning being hit in the eyes with water could worsen her condition. At the event, NingNing often wore protective goggles to avoid water getting into her eyes.
aespa electrified the stage with their hit songs like “Next Level,” “Spicy,” “Yeppi Yeppi”… Giselle wore a form-fitting outfit with sexy cutout details.
