aespa Karina reveals the total cost of styling an outfit for aespa to be “tens of billions” 

aespa Karina revealed the estimated cost for their outfits and accessories on the day of the Cannes Film Festival.

On June 10th, in the 387th episode of JTBC’s entertainment show “Knowing Bros”, three aespa members, Karina, Winter, and Ningning appeared as guests. Giselle was absent due to health reasons. 

Being the first K-pop group to enter Cannes, Karina explained that they went to the event as the sponsoring jewelry brand ambassadors. 

She continued, “The necklace I wore at the time was around 1.6 billion won”, adding, “The guards followed me. I pretended to run away. He followed me”, elaborating on the strict management of security personnel.

In addition, Karina said that the necklace she initially planned to wear to the event was sold at 6 million won the day before. Therefore, Karina wore a KRW1.6-million necklace instead. 

At that time, Ning Ning was the first artist in the world to wear the floral-patterned Versace. According to Karina, the estimated total cost of Ning Ning’s look could reach tens of millions of won. 

Ning Ning continued, “It’s a really precious outfit, so three or four people helped me carry it because it was heavy. When I wore it, it felt like I was holding a person. It was really heavy”, the actress recalled.
