aespa Karina ranked #2 on Star Ranking among female idols, proving her global popularity potential
Karina, a member of aespa, came in second in the Star Ranking female idol category.
Karina came in second with a total of 67,052 votes in the 12th round of the Star Ranking female idol category (week 4 of January) from 3:01 p.m. on Jan 20th to 3 p.m. on Jan 27th.
BLACKPINK’s Jennie topped the list with 69,837 votes. Karina was ranked second behind Jennie by a narrow margin. BLACKPINK’s Jisoo with 2,011 votes came in third place.
aespa, to which Karina belongs, re-introduced S.E.S’ hit song “Dreams Come True” through SM’s remastering project in December last year. This song became a hot topic as singer BoA, a senior from their agency, participated as a producer.
