On May 9th,an official from KBS2’s “The Return of Superman” told OSEN that Karina and Winter of aespa will appear on this week’s broadcast.
“The Return of Superman” is a reality TV show that reveals the child-rearing challenges faced by dads and moms who call themselves “Superman”. Currently appearing on the show are soccer player Park Joo Ho and his three children Na Eun, Gun Hoo, and Jin Woo; fencer Kim Jun Ho and his son Eun Woo; TV personality Sayuri and her son Zen; MMA fighter Kim Dong Hyun and his sons Dan Woo and Yeon Woo; comedian Hong Hyun Hee’s husband Jason and their son Jeon Bum; and actor Jang Shin Young’s husband Kang Kyung Joon and their son Jeong Woo.
It is known that Karina and Winter are set to meet Jason’s son Jeon Bum and take on a child-rearing challenge. Viewers can catch Karina and Winter’s parenting attempt on the May 12th broadcast.
On the other hand, aespa made a comeback with the release of their third mini-album “MY WORLD” on May 8th. The album received a total of 1.8 million pre-orders as of May 8th, breaking the group’s previous record of 1.61 million pre-orders for their second mini-album “Girls”.
Meanwhile, “MY WORLD” has sold 1,372,929 copies within the first day of release, according to Hanteo, making aespa the Kpop girl group with the highest first-day sales in Hanteo history.
