After recovering her health, aespa Giselle, who previously halted activities, will be resuming her activities again.
On June 15th, Xsports News exclusively reported that aespa Giselle will participate in the “32nd Lotte Duty-Free Family Concert,” which will be held at the KSPO DOME in Songpa-gu, Seoul, on the 16th.
Previously, on June 7th, her agency, SM Entertainment, had stated that Giselle would not be participating in the “Governors Ball Music Festival 2023” due to health issues.
Originally, aespa was scheduled to perform at the outdoor music festival “Governors Ball Music Festival 2023” in New York on June 10th (local time). However, due to Giselle’s health problem, only Karina, Winter, and Ningning performed on stage.
Meanwhile, back on June 1st, Giselle was also unable to attend the recording of JTBC’s “Knowing Bros” due to poor health. Now, as her condition has improved, Giselle plans to resume activities starting with the “32nd Lotte Duty-Free Family Concert.”
Meanwhile, aespa recently became the first Kpop group to participate in the “Governors Ball Music Festival.”
At the time, the American music publication Billboard even published an article titled “aespa Makes History With First-Ever Governors Ball Performance: Best Moments” on their website, highlighting the girl group’s stage.
“The K-pop group delivered several high ‘ænergy’ hits from their catalogue on the main stage, despite being short one member,” the article introduced, before mentioning the details of aespa’s setlist.
On the other hand, American music magazine Rolling Stone also praised aespa’s stage, describing it as a “memorable performance” where the girl group “breezed through a set that began with pyro”, and made it hard for the audience “not to get swept up”.
