Some netizens speculate that this may be a parody of an experiment camera trend that was popular among foreign YouTubers at one point, but the majority of netizens responded with comments like “Isn’t this a public obscenity crime?” “There are really all kinds of people in the world,” and “This is insane.

The identity of this woman who surprised netizens was soon revealed. She is Ah In and is active as an adult model.

In an interview with the Sunday newspaper, Ah In said, “It’s not a problem for a man to take off his shirt, but if a woman does, it’s considered a crime. I wanted to challenge this reality.

Additionally, Ah In, who enjoys stirring up controversy, added, “If I reach 100,000 followers on Instagram, I’ll put on another performance.”

When asked how she came up with such a performance, she replied, “The head of the agency suggested doing an interesting performance that breaks the sexual norms in Korea, and I thought it would be fun, so I didn’t hesitate to try it.

However, according to the current Korean law, if you publicly expose your significant body parts in a public place and cause others to feel discomfort, it may constitute an indecent exposure offense. Violation of the law can result in a fine of up to 100,000 won or detainment.

On another note, YouTuber and Twitch streamer Hanu, who gained online attention in August by riding a kick scooter through the streets of Seoul’s Mapo-gu in a bikini, said on Instagram, “Rebellion, attention-seeking, marketing, stirring controversy, being somewhat lacking somewhere—it’s a matter of personal perspective. You are free to wear what you want. Touching is off-limits, though. If any passersby felt uncomfortable because of me, I apologize. I didn’t do it all day, just 1-2 minutes of liberation. If the perspective of obscenity and regulation disappears, will it feel more liberating in the end?
