On January 28, ADOR stated, “If there are claims, they should be discussed in court,” offering a short official response to the press following Min Hee-jin’s emergency press conference earlier that day.
At 1 p.m. on the same day, Min Hee-jin’s legal representative, attorney Kim Sun-woong of Law Firm Ziam, held a press conference related to an ongoing damages lawsuit involving the former ADOR CEO. Public attention had focused on whether Min Hee-jin herself would attend, but she ultimately did not appear.

During the press conference, Min Hee-jin’s side reiterated that she had no intention of tampering with NewJeans, instead claiming that the controversy resulted from collusion between a family member of one NewJeans member and a specific corporation.
As supporting evidence, the legal team released messenger conversations and audio recordings from 2024 to 2025 involving HYBE representatives, members’ family members, and individuals associated with Davolink, a company they allege was involved in stock market manipulation. The legal disputes involving Min Hee-jin remain ongoing. A ruling date has been scheduled for February 12 regarding the shareholder agreement lawsuit between HYBE and Min Hee-jin.

At the press conference, questions were raised about why Min Hee-jin’s side chose to hold an emergency press event at this point in time. In response, Kim Sun-woong explained that narratives formed throughout 2024 and early 2025 had gradually become accepted as fact. He said that at the time, Min Hee-jin had refrained from speaking publicly out of consideration for her relationship with NewJeans members but later decided to respond after concluding that the alleged tampering forces were also linked to stock market manipulation.
Meanwhile, all NewJeans members have expressed their intention to return to ADOR. However, the exclusive contract with member Danielle has already been terminated, leaving her status separate from the rest of the group.
