Actress-turned-announcer posted thank-you message to fans on SNS after “love affair” controversy 

Hwang Bo-mi, a former sports announcer and actress who was embroiled in allegations of love affair, sent her thanks to fans.

Hwang Bo-mi posted a thank-you message on her Instagram on February 20th along with photos of gifts sent by fans.

She said, “Thank you for supporting and cherishing me, who is really nothing,” and added, “To those who came to the filming site to cheer me up, those who sent letters and gifts to the company, I read every single one of your letters. I don’t know if I am worth being loved this much because I’m not good enough.”

“In fact, I was a little tired, but you gave me strength again. As you live, you will experience really unfair and difficult things, but nevertheless, I am grateful for the courage, encouragement, and love you give for me to move forward again. I’ll pay you back for a long time in my life. I really love you and thank you,” she added.

The released photo contains a calendar with Hwang Bo-mi’s image and gifts prepared by fans. In particular, most of them are health supplements to support Hwang Bo-mi, who must have had a hard time.

Earlier, Hwang Bo-mi was embroiled in allegations of a love affair and was sued for alimony amounting to 50 million won. However, Hwang Bo-mi explained, “I didn’t know he was a married man,” and apologized sincerely to the wife who filed the lawsuit. Later, she filed a lawsuit to claim compensation for mental damage to the man she had been dating.

Hwang Bo-mi made her debut as an actress in the SBS drama “Ugly Alert” in 2013 and then became a SBS Sports Announcer in 2014.
