Actress Kang Han-na has officially signed an exclusive contract with Beyond J, beginning a new chapter in her career. This transition comes about five years after she first joined KeyEast in 2020 following her departure from Fantagio, with her last renewal taking place in 2023.

On August 20, Beyond J shared their excitement:

“We are delighted to be working with Kang Han-na, who has both stable acting skills and diverse charms. We will fully support her so she can showcase her talents across various fields.”

Kang Han-na has steadily built a reputation as a versatile performer who moves seamlessly between television and film. She first captured public attention through her role as Hwangbo Yeon-hwa in the historical drama Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo and later solidified her image as a memorable first love character in Familiar Wife.

In the period drama Bloody Heart, she portrayed Yoo Jung, elevating the tension of the palace romance, while in Frankly Speaking, she transformed into a variety show writer, showing her ability to balance both romantic and comedic elements.

On the big screen, she took on a bold new image in the 2024 comedy About Family, playing Han Ga-yeon and earning praise for her adaptability.

Beyond her acting career, Kang Han-na has also proven herself in entertainment and broadcasting. She gained global recognition as a project member of SBS’s Running Man and later expanded her hosting experience as MC of tvN STORY’s New Three Kingdoms.

On Netflix’s Better Late Than Single, she won viewers over with her candid and relatable hosting style, while her time as a radio DJ on KBS CoolFM’s Volume Up showcased her approachable and multifaceted personality.

Looking ahead, Kang Han-na is set to appear in tvN’s upcoming weekend drama Bon Appétit, Your Majesty, which premieres on August 23. In the series, she will take on the role of Kang Mok-joo, a woman admired for both her beauty and power, trusted by the king and recognized as a figure of influence within the palace.

Beyond J, which has produced a range of dramas including Nevertheless, The Killer’s Shopping List, Somebody, and A Shoulder to Cry On, also manages a lineup of established and rising actors such as Jo Ah-ram, Park Ah-in, Seo Yi-seo, and Hwang Hee. With Kang Han-na’s addition to the roster, the entertainment company expressed confidence that their partnership would create exciting new opportunities and strong synergy.
