Actor Ahn Bo-hyun: “I’m the type to go all-in for my girlfriend, there will be no secrets”

Actor Ahn Bo-hyun answered the interview of his solo magazine photoshoot. 

On Oct 22nd, “First Look” released a solo photoshoot of actor Ahn Bo-hyun, who is currently on the rise thanks to the dramas “Yumi’s Cell” and “My Name”. When asked about the charms of Gu Woong – his  in “Yumi’s Cell”, Ahn said, “He is sincere as well as honest, eccentric and innocent. Woong in the drama is a character faithful to his emotions. He’s straightforward, but doesn’t want to hurt others. I like the way he has a clear view of himself,” he said, expressing his affection for the character.

When asked about his personality if he’s in love, Ahn Bo-hyun answered, “In front of someone I like, I tend to save my words and keep my distance. If I like someone, I would love to share my joys, sorrows, hardships and building a secret-free relationship. I’m the type to go all-in for my girlfriend and be nice to her.” 

Regarding his similarities to detective Jeon Pil-do in Netflix’s original series “My Name”, Ahn Bo-hyun said, “He looks strong, but he becomes weak in front of other people’s wounds. Jeon Pil-do is a character who suffers and overcomes everything alone.”

The actor explained, “I just wanted to express a part of his life without trying to force it. I was immersed in the character while thinking about the memories of living alone for a long time, the difficulties and the good things at that time.”

In addition, Ahn Bo-hyun smilingly shared, “I’m getting lazier than before. I often separate trash, do laundry and wash dishes all at once. I used to always clean up right away and there was no “I’ll do it later”, but everything has changed now. Maybe it is tiring for me. Come to think of it, it’s more efficient now.”
