Accommodation price near ‘Asiad Busan Main Stadium’ raised to ‘4 million won per night’ after BTS changed concert venue
BTS will hold a free concert next month at the Busan Asiad Main Stadium.
On the 2nd, HYBE announced on the fandom platform Weverse that BTS’s free concert in Busan will be held at Busan Asiad Main Stadium. Accordingly, BTS will perform a spectacular performance for free on the 15th of next month.
Along with the news, accommodations near the concert hall are raising prices significantly.
An accommodation, which was 55,000 won per night on weekdays, soared to around 4 million won on the day the BTS performs. It happened because it was very close to the concert hall.
Not only the lodging establishment but also the nearby accommodations are raising prices abnormally, causing frowns. However, booking expensive lodgings is like picking stars in the sky.
Earlier, BTS planned to hold a performance with 100,000 people on the special stage of daylight in Gijang-gun, Busan. However, the Ilgwang area in Gijang-gun was not originally built for concert halls, and it was expected that there would be quite difficulties in setting up the stage. In addition, there is only one entrance for 100,000 spectators to come and go, raising concerns.
In addition, ahead of the BTS concert, lodging establishments near Gijang took reservations 10 times more expensive than before, causing controversies.
In the end, even though BTS changed the venue, the same problem is happening, and many people are outraged.
Many people said, “I live in Busan, but there is no answer here” and “It is a free concert that is more expensive than an overseas tour.”
On the other hand, as BTS changes its concert venue to the Busan Asiad Main Stadium, it seems that the number of people who can watch the performance will drastically decrease.
The maximum capacity at the Busan Asiad main stadium is about 56,000 people, half of the original estimate of 100,000 people.
