The police in Taiwan have conducted an investigation into Aaron Yan’s case.
On July 3, Ettoday reported that Aaron Yan, along with his two attorneys, was summoned by the police for investigation. The police suspected Aaron Yan of secretly filming more than one minor, so they conducted a search of the singer’s house and seized his computer and phone for investigation.
In addition to Cai Xukun’s scandal, the case of Aaron Yan being accused by his ex-boyfriend Yao Le of rape and forcing him to take sensitive photos when he was only 17 is also gaining much attention from the public.
On June 21, Aaron Yan showed up unannounced at Yao Le’s press conference, crying and admitting his mistakes and apologizing to his ex-boyfriend. Immediately after that, the Taiwanese police took over the investigation of the case.
The actions of Aaron Yan have sparked intense controversy and strong public criticism. Aaron Yan was born in 1985 and was a member of the band Fahrenheit. He is known for his roles in “Refresh Man”, “Just You”, “KO One”. In 2018, Aaron Yan came out as gay amidst the scandal of cheating. He also faced criticism for making harassing comments about TXT’s Huening Kai when the K-pop idol was 19.
