A post by a netizen that foreshadowed Im Ji-yeon and Lee Do-hyun’s relationship is gaining renewed attention.
On the 11th of last month, a post titled “ㅇㅅㅇ and ㅇㅇㅎ are dating, but who is ‘ㅇㅅㅇ’?” was posted on an online community site called DC Inside, which focuses on Korean dramas.
The netizen who wrote the post speculated, “I know that ㅇㅇㅎ refers to Lee Do-hyun, but who is ㅇㅅㅇ? Could it be Im Ji-yeon?” Other netizens who came across the post expressed various opinions such as “it’s a trap” or “it might be true”, but it did not receive much attention.
Earlier on the 1st of this month, Dispatch exclusively released photos of Lee Do-hyun and Im Ji-yeon on a date in a parking lot. The media outlet claimed that a “Nongdam (which means ‘joke’) couple” had been born, and that “Lee Do-hyun and Im Ji-yeon are continuing their glorious love in reality.” It was reported that the two became closer after attending an MT (membership training) event together with other cast members of the Netflix drama “The Glory.”
On the same day, Im Ji-yeon’s agency Artist Company and Lee Do-hyun’s agency oficially acknowledged their relationship, stating, “The two are carefully getting to know each other after developing a fondness for each other as close sunbae-hoobae (senior-junior). We would appreciate it if you would look at them with warm eyes.”
Im Ji-yeon and Lee Do-hyun were born in 1990 and 1995, respectively.
