A series of disastrous Chinese remakes from Korean blockbusters: The worst one is the parody of The Heirs and You Came From The Stars.

Kill Me Heal Me, She Was Pretty, The Heirs, etc. have been remade by China but all of them are terrible.

1. Autumn Fairy Tale (Autumn In My Heart Chinese version)

It’s hard to understand why Chinese filmmakers decided to remake a Koreran drama from the 2000s. On the review site Douban, Autumn Fairy Tale was rated only 2.9 points. The drama was criticized for being outdated, with a bad script, as well as the inexperienced cast of Zhao Lu Si, Jiao Rui, Xu Kai and Meng Me Qi.

2. Pretty Li Hui Zhen (She Was Pretty Chinese version)

Pretty Li Hui Zhen “borrowed” She Was Pretty by Hwang Jung Eum Park Seo Joon to promote the drama. However, this is a relatively sloppy remake from the way the character is built, the ability to express emotions to the outfits, etc. Obviously, Dilraba is too beautiful to play the role of an ugly girl.

3. A Seven-Faced Man (Kill Me Heal Me Chinese Version)

Despite the starring of the main cast with quite good acting, Elvira Cai and Zhang Yi Shan, the drama is considered to be exaggerating in both visuals and acting. Zhang Yi Shan‘s personality changes are quite outrageous, and his eyeliner is heavily made up, far behind Ji Sung‘s excellent performance.

4. Heirs From Another Star (The Heirs combined with My Love From the Star)

Admitted to deliberately imitating to attract attention for commercial purposes, Heirs From Another Star was criticized by netizens in the country. The plot revolves around a Qing dynasty prince who time-travels to modern China and becomes the heir of a large corporation. The guy then meets a girl from the past. There was an arranged marriage between them, and over time the couple began to develop feelings for each other.

However, both the script and acting are extremely weak. Besides, the poster also makes viewers feel like it’s a boy love drama.

5. W – Two Worlds (W – Two Worlds) Chinese version

Right at the announcement of the project, W – Two Worlds Chinese version was already predicted to fail. In addition to the complicated script and the complicated technical effects, the news that Zhao Lusi plays Han Hyo Joo’s character makes people absolutely disappointed. The producing team expected to shoot the drama for only 15 days, while it took the original version half a year to finish.

W – Two Worlds Chinese version is expected to start filming in Beijing in March 2022.
