A photo of Gong Yoo and Bae Doo-na on the scene of “The Silent Sea” was recently revealed.

On Dec 4th, Bae Doo-na posted a photo on her Instagram with the caption “D-20 Shot by @tojws #The Silent Sea”. In the photo released are Gong Yoo and Bae Doo-na.

It was a behind-the-scenes photo of Netflix series “The Silent Sea” (scripted by Park Eun-gyo, directed by Choi Hang-yong). Even when they were reading the script seriously, they still smiled with mischievous expressions.

Tojws is Jung Woo-sung‘s Instagram ID. It seems like the photo was taken by Jung Woo-sung, the producer of “The Silent Sea.”

Gong Yoo and Bae Doo-na are known to be friends of the same age. Earlier this year, Bae Doo-na appeared on tvN “Yoo Quiz on the Block” and revealed the nicknames she shared with Gong Yoo. Gong Yoo is called “Heukimja” (Black sesame) while Bae Doo-na is called Baekseolgi (White rice cake). Fans are highly expecting how their chemistry would be revealed in the movie.

The Silent Sea

“The Silent Sea” is an SF mystery thriller that is set in the desolate Earth of 2075. The story is about the journey of elite members who left for a research base abandoned on the moon after receiving a special mission. 

“The Silent Sea” will be released worldwide on Netflix on Dec 24th.
