A new era of 4th generation female idols? Gen 4 stars with influence in fashion 

4th generation female K-pop idols are thriving in fashion with ambassadorship and working connections, domestically and internationally. 

Jang Won Young (IVE)


With a combination of cuteness and attractiveness, IVE Jang Won Young is a go-to girl of many brands, in Korea or internationally. Domestically, she is working with beauty brand innisfree and colored contacts brand Hapa Kristin. For international brands, Won Young is named Brand Ambassador to FRED jewelry and Miu Miu. 

Ahn Yujin (IVE) 


Half a year after debut, IVE Ahn Yujin got a chance to appear on the cover of Marie Claire with Burberry. She was one of a handful of idols who donned designs from adidas x Gucci Collection. In addition, she appeared in the 2022 Spring/Summer Collection of Versace, the Fendace Collection, which is a collaboration between Fendi and Versace. Later, the female idol became the Brand Ambassador to Fendi. 



Somi was on a roll with fashion gigs in 2022. She is a Brand Ambassador to Converse, a Muse to Hada Labo, and an endorsement model to L’Oreal Paris. She also attended Lacoste’s promotional campaign. Most notably, she was named Brand Ambassador for Prada.

Minnie ((G)I-DLE)


On February 2023, (G)I-DLE Minnie appeared at the launching event for Tiffany & Co.’s high jewelry collection, and was a 4th generation female idol who donned the latest jewelry item from the brand. She also boasts a potential long-term working relations with Miu Miu by frequently attending events of the brand. The idol also created a personalized closet, Miu Miu Select, of her own. 

Yuqi ((G)I-DLE)


(G)I-DLE Yuqi boasts a long-term working relationship with Fendi. In 2021, Yuqi promoted the Capsule Fendi Peekaboo Collection, and was in active promotion for the bags for women, Fendigraphy. Fans are hopeful for a higher position from Fendi to Yuqi. 



NewJeans flaunts a formidable influence in fashion. Four out of five members have been appointed Ambassadors for brands such as Chanel, Burberry, YSL Beauty, Armani Beauty, and more. Moreover, NewJeans, as a group, is actively promoting for Levi’s as a Global Ambassador. 



aespa is working as a Brand Ambassador for Givenchy, MLB and Chopard. Individual members, such as NingNing and Karina, are showing signs of becoming individual ambassadors to brands, seen in their recent activities. 



ITZY and NMIXX are also working for brands as a group. Currently, ITZY is a Global Ambassador to Charles & Keith, while NMIXX is a Global Ambassador to Loewe.
