A netizen, who accused LE SSERAFIM’s Kim Ga-ram of school bullying, complains about being sued by Kim Ga-ram’s side

A netizen is drawing attention as they have been sued by LE SSERAFIM member Kim Ga-ram, who has been embroiled in the school bullying controversy even before her debut.

On April 20th, netizen A, who exposed Kim Ga-ram’s school bullying case, said on their SNS account, “I got sued. My mom just called to inform me”.

Earlier on the 5th, HYBE’s subsidiary label Source Music unveiled the profile of Kim Ga-ram as the second member of LE SSERAFIM. Shortly after that, revelations and suspicions targeting Kim Ga-ram were raised simultaneously on various online communities and SNS sites, such as Twitter. The situation became more serious as shocking past photos, such as Kim Ga-ram posing in front of a blackboard with drawings of sexual content and making a hand gesture referring to sexual intercourse, were released. 

Regarding the scandal, HYBE published an announcement to deny all the allegations of school bullying related to Kim Ga-ram, saying, “The recent allegations were edited in a deceitful way to maliciously slander Kim Ga-ram over the events that occurred during the time she was making friends in the early stages of middle school”, adding, “Contrary to the claims, it was confirmed through a third-party statement that Kim Ga-ram was actually the victim of school bullying acts, including malicious rumors and cyberbullying, when she was in middle school”.

HYBE also warned of taking legal action against malicious rumors. The company said, “We believe that the allegations were created with the intention to harm our artist who is about to debut, and we want to inform you that Source Music has taken legal action against the spread of unilateral and distorted allegations as well as false information related to this case”.

However, the controversy has intensified since allegations and revelations of school bullying against Kim Ga-ram continued to be revealed through SNS.
