A moment of BLACKPINK’s Jennie makes fans regret because it will “never be seen again”

BlackPink Jennie’s video at SBS Gayo Daejun 2016 made fans reminisce about the “good old days” 5 years ago.

Recently, a video of Jennie sitting among other artists and watching the stage at the year-end music festival “SBS Gayo Daejun 2016” was reposted by fans on Twitter and quickly attracted much attention and many comments.

At SBS Gayo Daejun 2016, Jennie was only a 4-month rookie. Although on stage, Jennie exuded outstanding charisma when she performed the two hit songs “Boombayah” and “Whistle” with other BLACKPINK members, when she was watching the performances off-stage, she acted like a real “newbie”. When talking with Rosé, Jennie “melts” fans’ hearts with her wide-eyed expression and adorable chubby cheeks. The female idol born in 1996 also enthusiastically reacted to the stages of other artists, showing excited and curious expressions of a rookie.

The cute moments of rookie Jennie from 5 years ago make fans feel nostalgic

Back in 2016 – 2017, every time Jennie attended these kinds of events, she always went viral for the amazing performances. The last time Jennie appeared at SBS Gayo Daejun was on December 26, 2018. For nearly 3 years, BLACKPINK has “disappeared” from music events in Korea. 2021 is ending soon, but the YG girl group has not released any new music nor confirmed to have a comeback yet. Perhaps it will take a long time for fans to enjoy the “music and visual party” of Jennie as well as BLACKPINK again at similar events.

Jennie was so cute and young back then! I miss Jennie and her year-end performances.

It will be difficult to see this image of her again. She has grown so much, she is a senior to many juniors now. Also, I think we will hardly ever see BLACKPINK at Gayo Daejun in the future.

2016 and 2017 are always my favorite years of Jennie.

During the early days of their debut, they had a lot of domestic schedules, but now seeing BLACKPINK appear at such events is too hard.

Jennie is so cool on stage, but off stage she used to look nervous and worried.

I wish I could go back to the time when BLACKPINK just debuted. I want to experience the feelings of waiting for them to attend the awards, and looking forward to seeing them receive their first trophies again.
