Adapted from a webtoon of the same name, the K-drama “Marry My Husband” is currently a sensation in many countries. In addition, it has received a shower of praise because all the actors perfectly portray their roles. Among them, leading actress Park Min-young stands out even more with a spectacular transformation for her role of female lead Ji-won.
The allure of “Marry My Husband” has undoubtedly made the cast more famous. However, what’s most surprising is that a seemingly unrelated female idol also became the talk of town. In fact, there were even rumors that this K-pop idol almost starred in “Marry My Husband”.
Particularly, back in 2022, (G)I-DLE’s Minnie appeared on a poster and video to promote the “Marry My Husband” webtoon in Thailand. In particular, as Minnie is a familiar name in the country, she was selected by Line Webtoon Thailand when the firm officially released the “Marry My Husband” webtoon.
Looking back at Minnie’s images in the role of Ji-won, audiences spared no praise for her beautiful and luxurious appearance. However, many comments suggest that Minnie looks quite gentle for a woman who is trying to take revenge on the people that stabbed her in the back and even murdered her – an image which Park Min-young perfectly tackled.
Additionally, Minnie is considered to have a vibe that is too… luxurious, which is not suitable for an office lady who only recently gained confidence.
