A grandfather fan came to BTS’s concert in LA with a memo of BTS members’ names to follow the fanchant

BTS has just met fans and completed their offline concert in Los Angeles, the U.S, for the first time after 2 years.

BTS held ‘BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE – LA’ at Sofi Stadium in LA on the 27th and 28th of November. It was estimated that their concerts attracted about 106,000 audiences to fill the stadium. Especially, the photo of a grandfather fan attending the concert among global ARMYs drew keen attention.

On November 29th, a Twitter user called @kimseokjinsbby took a picture at the concert hall and shared it online. In the released photo, a grandfather wearing a cap was enjoying the performances. He was holding an A4 paper with BTS members’ names in English written on it in his hand.

Netizen @Grlwluv⁷D1/2/3/4-JB, who was sitting close to him during the concert, explained, “The grandfather and his wife wrote BTS names down on the paper because they wanted to follow the fanchant. He said he is 76 years old and might be the oldest ARMY in this fandom. He’s so cool.”
