Two-shot still cuts of Cha Eun Woo and Park Gyu Young for the new drama has been unveiled
MBC’s new Wednesday drama “A Good Day to Be a Dog”, which is scheduled to premiere at 9 p.m. on October 11th, is a romance drama about a woman, who gets cursed to transform into a dog after kissing someone, finding a man who holds the key to breaking the curse although he’s afraid of dogs.
It is based on a Naver webtoon of the same name by Lee Hey that has been well-loved for its novel concept of a person turning into a dog after a kiss with various twists.
In the drama, Cha Eun Woo plays Jin Seo Won, a high school math teacher who is afraid of dogs due to a trauma he had when he was young. Park Gyu Young appears as Han Hae Na, a high school Korean language teacher who turns into a dog when she kisses someone.
Apart from the casting of Cha Eun Woo and Park Gyu Young, who boast 100% synchronization with the original version, the drama is already drawing keen attention by releasing still cuts of the two’s “puppy-like” visuals on September 11th.
The first still image shows fellow teachers Cha Eun Woo and Park Kyu Young sitting together on a chair but the atmosphere between them is quite awkward as they don’t even look at each other. In the next picture, Cha Eun Woo looks at Park Gyu Young with soft eyes and Park Gyu Young also smiles at Cha Eun Woo, creating a lovely scene that flutters fans’ hearts with their eye contact.
The last still cut reveals the scene where Park Gyu Young looking at Cha Eun Woo while hiding under a cloth, and Cha Eun Woo avoiding her eyes. Seeing the intense atmosphere when the distance between the two has gotten closer, viewers are looking forward to the main broadcast to see the stories of the two teachers meeting each other outside the school and their special relationship.
