SNSD Taeyeon was listed on the list of ‘2022 Best K-Pop Album’ selected by the US Time magazine.
The famous American media Time magazine (TIME) announced on the 13th (local time) ‘The Best K-Pop Songs and Albums of 2022’. Taeyeon‘s 3rd regular album ‘INVU’ was listed as ‘Best K-Pop Album’.
TIME said of Taeyeon, “While rookie girl groups impressed like no other when it came to K-pop in 2022, they were not the only ones cementing a place in the year’s best music. Veteran performers like Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon proved why she’s a giant in the industry.”
Regarding Taeyeon’s 3rd regular album ‘INVU’, they said, “If INVU is a canvas, Taeyeon is the master painter who splashes it in all the hues and shades of her voice. Her silvery and poignant tone is arresting, whether she’s fiercely belting high notes or gently singing in falsetto,” adding “And the seasoned artist traverses genres while putting her vocal prowess on full display. Across the thirteen tracks, Taeyeon ventures from dance-pop (INVU) to R&B (Some Nights) to disco (Weekend).”
On the other hand, Taeyeon’s 3rd album ‘INVU’, released in February, has received enthusiastic responses, such as topping music charts, winning 8 gold medals on music shows, and topping the iTunes Top Album Chart in 23 regions around the world.
