Enhypen member Jake (Shim Jae-yoon, 19 years old) was recently caught borrowing a lighter for cigarettes from women in Itaewon.
On August 23rd, a Twitter account posted photos of Enhypen’s Jake along with the caption, “Jake came to Itaewon with his management team on Friday night”, adding “The reason he borrowed a lighter for cigarettes from the women was that he tried to flirt with them by opening his mask and revealing his face.”
In the released photos, Jake was wearing a ball cap and mask. He was approaching a group of women and borrowed a cigarette lighter from them. While doing so, he lowered his mask and showed his face. The men who went together with Jake are said to be his management team.
However, it was only the claim by a person who witnessed Jake and the fact has not been confirmed. It is because no picture of Jake going with women was posted.
Enhypen’s agency has not released any position on the controversial photo.
