Lisa has been selected as CHOEAEDOL’s 339th donation fairy thanks to fan votes.
In celebration of the 9200th day since BLACKPINK’s Lisa was born, BLINKs (BLACKPINK’s fans) and Lisa’s fans from around the world gathered and sent congratulatory messages to the female idol. On the same day, by helping Lisa become the No.1 idol on the daily rankings of CHOEAEDOL, a popular idol fandom community, fans have once again made her the donation fairy.
An idol is selected as a donation fairy on CHOEAEDOL when their total vote count exceeds 55,555,555 on different various anniversaries. With Lisa’s global popularity, her fans have collected a total of 56,413,674 votes in just one day. In addition, many idols who celebrate special anniversaries around the same time, such as VIVIZ’s SinB and TXT’s Yeonjun, also climbed up the daily rankings.
The donation to be delivered to the MIRAL Welfare Foundation in the name of Lisa, who has been crowned the 339th Donation Fairy. This month, the money will be used as an emergency relief fund for Ukrainian refugees who are currently suffering from the war. A total of 17 million won will be donated by CHOEAEDOL on behalf of Lisa.
Meanwhile, Lisa and other BLACKPINK members recently proved their global impact by attending an official event to mark the 70th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II’s accession at the British Embassy in Seoul on May 26th. Earlier today, a selfie of Lisa with Priyanka Chopra and Anne Hathaway at a Bulgari event was posted on Instagram, creating a buzz among netizens.
