On March 18th, “The Eras Tour,” Taylor Swift’s biggest tour in the career of the singer officially started with the first night of performance at the Sate Farm Stadium, Glendale, Arizona, with the attenadance of nearly 70 thousand audience members.
The concert became a major festive event for Glendale. In just one week, the mayor of the city decided to temporarily change the name of the city to “Taylor City” to welcome this highly anticipated event. Residents said that, the flock of audience to the city for the two-night concert at the State Farm Stadium brought in a revenue higher than that during the Super Bowl Finale season.
In the first night of performance, Paramore and the Gayle had the honor to be the opening artists to the concert. Afterwards, the organizing committee switched on a variety of music to maintain the heat of the concert. One of the chosen songs was “Pink Venom” by BLACKPINK.
A clip recording the moment the song was on at the stadium quickly went viral on Tiktok. Many users speculated if Taylor Swift was the one that handpicked the song for the list. Accordingly, in the VMAs 2022, the country singer also used this track for her Tiktok video introduction at the award show.
