A super-large panorama art mural with a height of 2m and a total length of 33m will be installed at Daeseong Elementary School in Daegu, BTS V‘s alma mater. This will be the first time in the world that a K-pop artist’s personal mural will be installed on the outer wall of a campus.
On Dec 20th, V‘s largest fan club “Baidu V Bar” in China announced that as a birthday gift for V, they will install a 2m high, 33m long panorama mural on the outer wall of Daeseong Elementary School in Daegu where V spent his childhood. The mural will feature eight years of music work and stories, including V‘s solo and self-composed songs, in a panorama format. In addition, the background design will be a purple base, which represents V‘s trademark “I Purple You,” and the art piece “Starry Night” by V’s favorite artist Van Gogh.
The mural will be completed the day before V‘s birthday on December 29th and will be made to be maintained for more than two years by using the method of tile mural, not painting.
This campus mural is expected to contribute to revitalizing the local economy as a new K-pop attraction for many fans and local citizens visiting Daegu.
