No matter how famous a top star becomes, no one reaches the top alone. Behind every successful celebrity are countless staff members working tirelessly behind the scenes. Many stars recognize their efforts and show their appreciation through generous gifts. Here are some of the celebrities who have earned praise for their heartfelt generosity.
Following the successful conclusion of the SBS Friday-Saturday drama Agent Kim Reactivated on July 25, So Ji Sub surprised fans with an unexpected gesture toward the cast and crew.

On July 26, a day after the drama ended, reports spread online revealing that So Ji Sub had presented gold bars in specially designed cases to everyone involved in the production. Along with the gifts, he shared a heartfelt message, saying, “Working on this project brought me great happiness and unforgettable memories. Thank you to everyone who quietly gave their best and helped make Agent Kim Reactivated shine.”
This is not the first time So Ji Sub has rewarded the people he works with. Last year, after filming the Netflix drama Mercy for None, he gifted one don of gold to the actors, managers, and staff. Explaining the thoughtful present, So Ji Sub joked, “Gold isn’t something you can get through sponsorships, so I prepared it sincerely. If times get tough in the future, you can always sell it and use the money.”
His warm gesture once again impressed fans online, while Agent Kim Reactivated wrapped up its run with an impressive nationwide viewership rating of 23.0%.

MAMAMOO member Hwasa has also become well known for her generous treatment of staff. During her appearance on the YouTube channel TEO in April, host Jang Do Yeon brought up Hwasa’s reputation for always taking good care of the people around her.
Hwasa responded, “The staff members work just as hard as I do. I simply happen to earn more, so I never think it’s a waste to do something extra for them.”
Over the years, Hwasa has reportedly bought cars for staff members, gifted luxury handbags, and even handed out Lunar New Year cash gifts. Following the 9th Gaon Chart Music Awards in 2020, she personally selected luxury bags from brands including Louis Vuitton, Prada, Fendi, and Balenciaga for every staff member. She also included handwritten letters and New Year gift money, earning admiration for her sincerity and thoughtfulness.

Meanwhile, actor Lee Do Hyun, who completed his military service in May and is preparing to return with several upcoming projects, including Grand Galaxy Hotel, The Man Called H, Let’s Shake Our Sun, and Nambeol, has also been praised for his generosity.
Earlier this year, ahead of the Lunar New Year holiday, Lee Do Hyun gifted padded jackets to around 70 employees at his agency, YH Entertainment. The jackets came from Musinsa Standard, a brand for which Lee serves as an ambassador, making the gesture even more meaningful.
Agency staff members later expressed their gratitude, saying, “Thank you, Do Hyun. Thanks to you, we’re staying warm this winter,” while sharing a group photo proudly showing off their matching jackets, creating yet another heartwarming story about the actor.
