On July 18, Son Sang Yeon uploaded several photos and a short video to his social media account with the caption, "I've been really busy lately!"

In the shared images, the actor can be seen wearing gloves while seemingly working at a café counter. Another photo shows him dressed casually in a dark-colored top with a pair of glasses resting on his head as he playfully pouts for the camera. The relaxed snapshots offered fans a warm and charming look at his everyday life.

Son Sang Yeon most recently appeared in the KBS2 weekend drama Our Golden Days, which concluded in January. He portrayed Lee Ji Wan, the younger brother of Lee Ji Hyuk (Jung Il Woo) and the dependable bodyguard and driver of Park Young Ra (Park Jung Yeon). The drama maintained ratings in the double digits throughout its run before reaching an impressive 20% viewership for its finale, ending on a high note as one of the network’s most talked-about weekend series.

Celebrating his 10th debut anniversary this year, the 24-year-old actor, born in 2002, has already built an impressive résumé despite his young age. After debuting as a child actor in 2016, Son gained recognition for his role as Bang Yoon Dam in the SBS drama Racket Boys, followed by his memorable performance as Jang Woo Jin in Netflix’s global hit All of Us Are Dead, which introduced him to international audiences.

He is also one of the younger actors who has already completed his mandatory military service. Son enlisted in the South Korean Army on November 8, 2021. Shortly after his enlistment, he made headlines when he attended the 2021 SBS Drama Awards in military uniform during a leave of absence to receive the Best New Actor award.

Before pursuing acting, Son dreamed of becoming a professional soccer player, but an injury led him to change career paths. He is currently enrolled as a member of the Class of 2023 at Chung-Ang University’s College of Arts, balancing his academic studies with his acting career. Earlier this month, on July 1, Son Sang Yeon also signed an exclusive contract with the comprehensive management agency Billions, marking the beginning of a new chapter in his career. With the agency promising full support for his future activities, fans are looking forward to seeing what projects the versatile young actor will take on next.
