On July 25, YouTube channel Quiet Life released a preview video titled “Min Hee Jin Interview Preview Part 1.”
In the video, Min Hee Jin began by saying, “Even when I worked at SM, I was the type of producer who preferred to stay behind the scenes.”
She continued, “The truth is, I was already receiving a lot of attention back then, and I got many requests. While I was at SM Entertainment, I was even asked to appear on a dating show,” surprising everyone.
When interviewer and journalist Kim Hye Ri asked in disbelief, “As a contestant?” Min Hee Jin replied, “Yes. It was really unbelievable,” recalling the unexpected offer.
Min Hee Jin added, “At the time, I was also receiving commercial endorsement offers. From around my mid-30s, I started getting a lot of those kinds of requests.” However, she emphasized, “I turned down every single one.”
Explaining why she rejected the offers, she said, “That’s just my personality. At the time, those situations felt burdensome to me.” She added that she wanted to focus entirely on her role as a creative director rather than stepping into the spotlight.
