aespa members Karina and Winter left fans laughing after engaging in a playful exchange in the comments of a viral social media post.
On July 24, screenshots of comments left by the two idols on an online post quickly spread across Korean online communities, drawing widespread attention from fans.
The post introduced “Karina,” a Nelore cow from Brazil that holds the title of the world’s most expensive cow. According to the post, a 25% ownership stake in the cow was sold for 6.015 million Brazilian reais (approximately ₩1.75 billion), valuing the animal at around 24.06 million reais (roughly ₩7 billion).
The post jokingly noted, “From the name alone, you’d think she’d be performing on stage, but she’s actually an elite cow that has won three livestock competitions.” It also humorously added that the cow looked as if she “knows she’s beautiful.”
After seeing the post, Winter tagged Karina’s account and simply commented, “Oh.” Karina soon replied with, “What? I’m kind of proud,” prompting laughter from fans.
The lighthearted interaction quickly went viral, with fans leaving comments such as, “These two are so adorable,” “Winter’s reaction is even funnier,” “Karina totally accepted it,” and “aespa’s chemistry is unbeatable.”
Meanwhile, aespa recently wrapped up promotions for their second full-length album, Lemonade, and is set to kick off their new world tour, SYNK : COMPLaeXITY, this August.
