Sunmi appeared on the SBS variety show Uh, but Like, Seriously! on July 20, where she talked about her personality and the situations that make her lose her temper.

During the show, comedian Lee Soo Ji asked, “Have you ever been so angry that you completely lost it?” Sunmi replied, “Yes,” adding, “When someone crosses the line, I become a completely different person.”

She explained that she is usually easygoing and rarely gets angry before recalling an uncomfortable experience while dining with fellow Wonder Girls member Yubin.

“I was having a meal with Yubin, and there was a group of men at the next table who had been drinking,” Sunmi said. “They picked up their glasses, came over to our table, and said, ‘Come on, Wonder Girls, pour us some drinks.'”

She continued, “That was something I simply couldn’t tolerate. When I get really angry, I actually smile instead. It’s the kind of smile that’s genuinely frightening.”

Sunmi revealed that she immediately confronted the men, telling them, “Act your age. Leave now.” She even reenacted the moment during the broadcast, surprising the other cast members.

Following the episode, viewers praised her response, leaving comments such as, “She set firm boundaries against rude behavior,” “Just because someone is a celebrity doesn’t mean they should be treated disrespectfully,” and “She handled the situation calmly but with confidence.”
