In the photos, Kwon Mina is seen wearing a white halter-neck top with little to no makeup while looking directly into the camera. Fans praised her clear complexion and defined facial features, but many also noted that her face appeared noticeably thinner than before, with sharper facial lines and more sunken eyes.

One particular image, affected by the bluish lighting from a television screen, made her complexion appear even paler, further drawing attention from fans who were already concerned about her condition.

Supportive comments quickly followed, with fans writing messages such as, “Your health comes first,” “We hope to see your bright smile again soon,” “Please don’t push yourself and focus on recovering,” and “Her jawline looks much sharper. She mentioned suffering an accident during a lifting procedure.”

Earlier this year, Kwon Mina revealed that she had suffered a medical accident while undergoing a skin lifting treatment. According to the singer, she sustained a deep second-degree burn during an ultrasound lifting procedure, leaving her in need of skin graft surgery and long-term medical treatment.

She has since shared that although she continues to receive treatment, her recovery has been slower than expected, leaving her feeling anxious about the future. Mina also disclosed that several filming projects were canceled because of her condition, resulting in financial losses worth tens of millions of won. She added that she is currently paying for her treatment out of her own pocket.

Kwon Mina also confirmed that she has filed both civil and criminal lawsuits against the medical staff involved, saying the incident completely changed her life overnight.

Kwon Mina debuted as a member of AOA in 2012 and rose to fame through hit songs including Miniskirt, Like a Cat, and Heart Attack. After leaving the group, she has remained active on social media, regularly updating fans on her daily life.
