In the July 17 episode of her YouTube series titled “A Solo Summer Vacation Part 1 | A Video Perfect for Boknal,” Song Ji Hyo was asked by the production team whether she had ever been approached for her phone number.
She initially replied that, aside from being approached on the street shortly before her debut by someone connected to her agency, it had never really happened.
Moments later, however, she suddenly remembered a more recent experience.
Recalling the incident, Song Ji Hyo explained that she had visited a convenience store while wearing both a hat and a face mask. While paying for her items, the employee struggled with the checkout process, prompting her to help complete the transaction. They exchanged a few words before she left the store.
According to the actress, the employee then followed her outside. “He told me, ‘You’re exactly my type. Let’s go talk in my car.'” Song Ji Hyo said she immediately turned down the invitation. ” I told him, ‘It’s okay. I think you should just go on your way.'”
Given that they had only just met, she implied that being invited into a private, enclosed space by a stranger naturally made her uncomfortable and cautious.
Despite being caught off guard, Song Ji Hyo admitted the experience still left her smiling. Laughing, she confessed: “After I turned around, I was actually happy.” Her candid response drew laughter from viewers, with fans appreciating her honest and humorous storytelling.
