Fan Bingbing has become the center of intense online speculation after new rumors about her personal life spread rapidly across Chinese social media.

On July 17, Chinese social media platform Weibo was flooded with claims that another major C-entertainment star had quietly become a parent. According to the circulating rumors, the actress secretly welcomed her first child a baby girl last year through surrogacy. The posts further alleged that the child, now over one year old, inherited her mother’s striking features and is being raised privately in Hong Kong.

Entertainment bloggers also claimed that the child’s father is a wealthy entrepreneur born in the 1980s who reportedly owns several cryptocurrency trading platforms. The unidentified businessman was described as an influential figure in Hong Kong’s elite circles with enormous wealth. Rumors further suggested that, with his support, Fan Bingbing has moved into a luxury villa in Hong Kong’s prestigious Mid-Levels district, an area known for housing celebrities and ultra-high-net-worth residents.

According to Chinese outlet 163, Fan Bingbing’s relationship with the businessman has allegedly lasted for more than two years. Reports claimed that during the 2024 Lunar New Year’s Eve celebrations, the actress brought her parents to Hong Kong, where they met her boyfriend and celebrated together aboard a luxury yacht. The reports also alleged that Fan has intentionally kept the relationship out of the public eye, even asking close friends not to mention her partner to the media because she believes maintaining privacy would help the relationship last.

Despite the widespread rumors that she secretly welcomed a daughter, Fan Bingbing has not commented on the claims. The actress has faced pregnancy and childbirth rumors numerous times in the past, many of which were later debunked. On previous occasions, speculation stemmed from changes in her appearance after weight gain, leading many netizens to remain skeptical of the latest reports while waiting for an official statement from the actress.
