The July 19 episode of SBS variety show Running Man will feature the “Commute Yaho” race, where the cast competes over their reporting times for future recordings.
During the opening of a recent recording, the Running Man members shared a series of exciting personal updates. Haha revealed that he will be holding his very first fan concert since debut, earning congratulations from the cast. Ji Suk Jin and Ji Ye Eun also announced that their project duo, CHOONGJU JI-C, is preparing to release a new song. Amid the cheerful atmosphere, Kim Jong Kook added, “I have some good news too,” teasing a meaningful surprise announcement. His unexpected remark immediately sparked a flood of guesses from the other cast members.
Meanwhile, the day’s mission centered on the “Commute Yaho” race, where random selections would determine each member’s reporting time for the following week’s opening shoot. Depending on luck, contestants could end up reporting as early as dawn or as late as the evening. As soon as the production team revealed the default reporting time of 5:30 a.m., the cast collectively protested, calling it far too early. Knowing that a single random choice would decide their actual call time, the members reportedly displayed even fiercer competitiveness than usual.
Meanwhile, Kim Jong Kook reportedly held a private wedding ceremony with his non-celebrity wife at a hotel in Seoul’s Gangnam district in September last year.
