A new report has claimed that late Taiwanese actress Barbie Hsu, the wife of Clon member Koo Jun Yup, left behind personal notes outlining how she hoped her estate would be divided after her death.
According to Taiwanese media outlets SETN and Mirror Weekly on July 15 (local time), Hsu recorded her thoughts on the distribution of her assets in the notes application on her mobile phone while she was still alive.
Local reports stated that she wished for her jewelry and luxury handbags to be passed down to her daughter, while the remainder of her estate would be shared among her husband Koo Jun Yup, her two children, and the children of her older sister.

However, Hsu’s family reportedly concluded that the note did not qualify as a legally valid will. As a result, her estate has not been distributed according to the contents of the memo.
Earlier, on July 12, SETN reported that Koo Jun Yup is expected to enter mediation proceedings next week with the legal representatives of Hsu’s children. The report suggested that the process indicates the inheritance matter has not yet been finalized.
The outlet further claimed that Koo has not renounced his inheritance rights and is working to ensure that the portion of the estate intended for the two children Hsu shared with her former husband, Wang Xiaofei, is properly secured.

When reporters sought confirmation from Koo Jun Yup’s legal representative regarding the claims, his attorney reportedly declined to comment.
Attention has also been drawn to a public statement released by Wang Xiaofei, which outlined the reported inheritance structure. According to the statement, one-third of the estate would legally go to Koo Jun Yup as Hsu’s surviving spouse. Wang stated that he respects both Koo’s legal inheritance rights and any personal decisions he may make regarding his share.
The remaining two-thirds of the estate would reportedly be jointly inherited by Hsu’s two minor children. Wang also stated that he has established a trust account to manage the children’s inheritance on their behalf.

There have also been reports claiming that Hsu’s mother, Huang Chun Mei, asked Koo Jun Yup to sign a document relinquishing his inheritance rights. However, SETN reported that Koo has not signed any agreement to waive his legal claim.
Barbie Hsu married Chinese businessman Wang Xiaofei in 2011, and the couple had one son and one daughter before divorcing in 2021. In March 2022, she reunited with and married her former boyfriend, Koo Jun Yup. Tragically, Hsu passed away in February last year while traveling in Japan after developing pneumonia caused by complications from influenza.
