Thai group New Country member Tintin has officially brought an end to the paternity controversy surrounding him after a DNA test confirmed he is the biological father of actress and singer Farida Elizabeth’s unborn child.

The scandal first erupted in early June when Farida Elizabeth announced her pregnancy through social media, claiming that Tintin was the baby’s father. Because Tintin is a member of the rising group New Country, the news quickly spread across Thailand and drew widespread attention from fans both domestically and internationally.
As the controversy intensified, Tintin’s agency, Grammy Gold (GMM Music), released an official statement on June 8 announcing that all of his activities would be suspended until the facts surrounding the situation had been verified.

According to Thai media outlet Thairath, the two agreed to undergo a DNA test to settle the matter once and for all. Although the examination had originally been scheduled for June 20, both parties decided to move it forward to the morning of June 18 to ensure greater transparency. Each attended the procedure with their own representatives present during the sample collection.
The results later confirmed a 99.99% probability that Tintin is the child’s biological father. Following the confirmation, the idol publicly accepted the outcome and reiterated that he intends to fulfill his responsibilities as the baby’s father.

After the DNA test results were finalized, Tintin and Farida made their first public appearance together on June 29 by appearing on Thailand’s Channel 3 current affairs talk show Hone-Krasae, which had previously featured separate interviews with both individuals throughout the controversy.
During the broadcast, Farida proposed that the two equally share the costs related to prenatal care, childbirth, and raising the baby after birth, saying she believed it was the fairest arrangement for both of them. Tintin readily agreed, promising that he would faithfully cover his share of the expenses.

One of the most talked-about moments of the program came when the host encouraged Tintin to place his hand on Farida’s baby bump for the first time. Farida said the baby kicked during the moment, creating a noticeably warmer atmosphere between the pair.
When asked if he wanted to say anything to his unborn child, Tintin responded emotionally, saying, “Daddy loves you. No matter what happens, I’ll always love you.” Although their interaction appeared somewhat awkward, the heartfelt exchange quickly went viral online, with many viewers commenting that the two had taken an important first step toward co-parenting.
