On July 1, Woojin shared an update through LNGSHOT’s official social media accounts, explaining the reason behind his temporary recovery period.
He revealed that his right shoulder had been prone to repeated dislocations for a long time. However, as promotional activities became more physically demanding, the discomfort worsened, prompting him to visit the hospital for a detailed examination.

According to Woojin, doctors discovered that both the shoulder joint and its ligaments had suffered serious tears, making surgery unavoidable.
Fortunately, the singer said he is still able to carry out normal daily activities. However, medical staff advised him to avoid strenuous movements for the time being and focus on rest and rehabilitation to ensure a full recovery.
Despite the setback, Woojin assured fans that he intends to remain active whenever his condition allows.

“I’ll concentrate on recovering while participating in activities as much as I can. Please don’t worry too much. I love you all,” he wrote, expressing gratitude for fans’ continued support.
LNGSHOT officially debuted in January as a four-member boy group produced by Jay Park, attracting attention even before their debut because of the artist’s involvement in the project.
The group has continued to maintain a busy schedule since their debut, including the release of their second mixtape in May, and Woojin’s announcement has sparked an outpouring of well wishes from fans hoping for his speedy recovery.
