On July 1, Kim Tae-ri’s agency told Newsen, “She is positively reviewing an offer to star in the new drama Sister, I Am Queen in This Life.”
Based on the webtoon of the same name, Sister, I Am Queen in This Life follows the story of a woman who is betrayed and abandoned by her fiancé, her sister, her parents, and everyone around her. After traveling back 15 years into the past, she sets out to take revenge on those who wronged her and become queen.
If Kim Tae-ri confirms her appearance, it will mark her return to television for the first time in three years since the tvN drama Jeongnyeon: The Star Is Born, which aired in 2024.
Filming is scheduled to begin next year, while the broadcast network has yet to be decided.
Meanwhile, Kim Tae-ri recently appeared on the tvN variety show Curtain Up, Class!, which concluded in April. The program attracted attention as the actress’s first regular appearance on a variety show since her debut.
