Taiwanese actor and singer Vanness Wu has announced his remarriage, eight years after ending his first marriage. The former F4 member shared the news through his social media account on June 29, expressing gratitude for what he described as a year filled with blessings.
In his heartfelt post, Vanness Wu wrote: “Every good thing comes from above. 2026 has been a year filled with endless blessings. I was able to reunite with my members for a tour, continue doing what I love by performing on stage, and now I’ve received the blessing of meeting the most precious person in my life.”
He continued by thanking fans for their unwavering support. “I am truly grateful that I can share this love with everyone who has supported me for so long. I pray that God will bless each of you with the same love and grace He has so generously given me.”

Alongside the announcement, Vanness Wu posted a photo showing him and his wife holding hands while wearing matching wedding bands. Although the rings were simple in design, fans noticed that his bride was also wearing a large gemstone ring.
The remarriage comes approximately eight years after Vanness Wu divorced his first wife, Arissa Cheo, a Singaporean heiress. The couple married in 2013 before officially ending their marriage in 2018 after years of reported relationship difficulties.
While Vanness Wu did not reveal his wife’s identity in his announcement, Taiwanese media outlets, including ETtoday, reported that the bride is Japanese singer Emida Aramaki.

According to reports, Aramaki was born in Fukuoka, Japan, before moving to the United Kingdom at the age of nine. She has pursued artistic and musical activities across Japan, the U.K., and the United States. After returning to Japan in 2024, she made her official music debut with the single “Purple Dream.”

Vanness Wu rose to international fame as one of the four members of F4, the group formed through the massively successful Taiwanese drama Meteor Garden, the original adaptation of Boys Over Flowers.

Following the drama’s success, he built a career spanning music, television, and film. He has also collaborated with several Korean artists, including Kangta and 2PM’s Junho, expanding his popularity across Asia.
