Rookie actress Seo Su Min, who plays So Ji Sub’s daughter in Agent Kim Reactivated, is quickly becoming one of the drama’s breakout stars.

Making her television debut in SBS’s Agent Kim Reactivated, which premiered on June 26, Seo Su Min took on the role of Kim Min Ji, the only daughter of So Ji Sub’s character. Although it is her first drama appearance, she immediately drew attention with a confident and natural performance.

From her very first scenes, Seo Su Min convincingly portrayed the complicated emotions of a teenage high school student. She effortlessly expressed Kim Min Ji’s frustration, disappointment, awkwardness, and conflicted feelings toward her father, Manager Kim (So Ji Sub). Despite being a newcomer, her stable acting earned praise from viewers. She also realistically depicted a student struggling not to break under Joo Hye Ri’s (Yoo Ji An) bullying while showing subtle excitement and nervousness whenever she interacted with Kim Nam Hoon (Kael), capturing the charm of an ordinary teenage girl.

Before making her acting debut, Seo Su Min had already introduced herself to the public through social media, reflecting the digital-savvy style of her generation. Last year, she launched her own channel and uploaded a short clip titled “Taking Off My Glasses and Getting Comfortable With the Camera.” As of June 29, the 44-second video had surpassed 3.16 million views, drawing significant attention online.

Her popularity actually began even earlier. In August 2023, Seo Su Min appeared on beauty creator Haemin Sunsaeng’s YouTube channel, where a before-and-after makeup transformation video featuring her exceeded 2 million views. When she returned to the same channel in May last year, she revealed that several major entertainment agencies had contacted her after the video went viral. She shared that she had since signed with an agency and was focusing on acting lessons.

As Agent Kim Reactivated continues to enjoy strong ratings, internet users have also begun revisiting Seo Su Min’s earlier videos. Many praised her charm and screen presence, leaving comments such as, “I watched the clip, and she’s so adorable,” “Her acting is surprisingly solid,” and “She definitely has star potential.”

Seo Su Min is currently appearing in SBS’s Agent Kim Reactivated, an action-revenge drama that follows an ordinary father who transforms into the most dangerous man in order to rescue his only daughter.
