Girls’ Generation member Tiffany Young gave viewers a closer look at her passionate daily routine during her appearance on MBC’s Omniscient Interfering View, which aired on June 27.

During the broadcast, Tiffany spoke about suffering from vocal cord nodules twice in the past and revealed that she began her day with a visit to an ear, nose, and throat clinic to check on the condition of her vocal cords. She explained, “I visit the ENT clinic every two weeks, just like people regularly go to a dermatologist.” Throughout the examination, she carefully monitored the movement of her vocal muscles and continued asking detailed questions to her doctor.

Tiffany also shared that she had personally studied the structure of the vocal cords, muscles, and blood vessels over the years. She explained that her interest in anatomy came from growing up in a family with a strong medical background, including an older sister who majored in biology and a maternal grandfather who worked as a physician. According to the program, even her doctor was impressed by her extensive anatomical knowledge.

The show also featured footage from rehearsals for the musical Yumi’s Cells. Playing the lead role of Yumi, Tiffany arrived at the rehearsal studio earlier than anyone else to warm up. She devoted significant attention to understanding her character, analyzing everything from makeup and costumes to snack preferences. She even revealed that she wanted to portray the subtle movement of Yumi’s pupils to make the character feel more realistic, highlighting the meticulous preparation behind her performance.

Tiffany also shared a heartwarming story about her husband, actor Byun Yo Han, who sent a coffee truck to the rehearsal site to encourage her as she challenged herself with a new acting role.

In addition, Tiffany opened up about why she suddenly left Girls’ Generation activities years ago to study in the United States. She explained that she temporarily stepped away from her career to attend an acting school, where she auditioned for numerous films and television projects. After years of dedicated preparation, she successfully landed a role in the musical Chicago, beating odds of roughly 200 applicants competing for a single spot.
