Ok Taecyeon will lead the upcoming ENA drama First-Class Servant Yong Gil, scheduled to air in the second half of the year.
The drama is a comedic investigative historical series that follows Yong Gil, a servant who secretly infiltrates a noble household and becomes entangled in solving various incidents and family problems.
Taecyeon will portray Yong Gil, a multi-talented problem solver who takes on the roles of servant, secretary, butler, and even legal advisor. From managing taxes and handling lawsuits to overseeing land and resolving family affairs, Yong Gil is a character known for his sharp work ethic and exceptional problem-solving abilities.
The series will be directed by Lee Jae Hoon, who previously helmed the JTBC drama Divorce Attorney Shin.
Ok Taecyeon debuted as a member of 2PM in 2008 and began his acting career with the KBS 2TV drama Cinderella’s Sister in 2010. Since then, he has starred in popular projects including Dream High, Vincenzo, Blind, and Heartbeat, successfully balancing careers in both music and acting.
The actor recently tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend in a wedding ceremony held in Seoul on April 24.
